Day 3

- Monday

Snowmobile from Mekoos outfitter to Club Notawissi (170 km)

View details +

Today, you get up, get dressed, have lunch in the excitement of continuing your snowmobile adventure. Head south then turn north! Let’s go ! Nowhere else will you find a larger frozen expanse: it is the Kiamika Reservoir. The trail passes over the reservoir with a length of 18 km long and 5 km wide.

Enough to offer beautiful driving sensations, wonder too. Ice and snow have taken over nature to offer you a pure and invigorating spectacle. Wildlife is an integral part of Quebec’s universe. This is how you go up to Chutes-Saint-Philippe to contemplate the largest deer ravage in the region.

To get over it, head to St-Anne du lacs for lunch. Satisfied, you then restart for the outfitter Notawissi which is located on the beautiful and majestic Lake Notawissi. You will spend two nights at this place. After a first dinner and a good night in your cottage, happiness seems simple and easy.

Day 5

- Wednesday

Notawissi snowmobile at Mekoos Outfitter (170km)

View details +

You leave the Notawissi outfitter to return to your starting base: the Mekoos outfitter, where Sébastien awaits you tonight at the ice bar with a surprise! But not right now ! Your raid of the Hautes-Laurentides would be incomplete if you did not visit a must in the region: the Montagne du Diable.

It is therefore by snowmobile that you climb the summit. There, we turn off the engines and… Be quiet. Here, nature is king. The view is breathtaking, it is also the most beautiful place to experience the great outdoors of Canada. Stop at the top for lunch, then visit the Windigo falls, they never freeze. Back tonight at Mekoos where, as promised, Sébastien awaits you at the ice bar. Dinner and night at Mekoos.

The excitement of departure then gives way to calm. You help them in steeper hills, which gives birth to a beautiful complicity between you and Man’s best friend. Lunch is taken in the forest with a wood fire on the territory of the Mekoos outfitter. Dinner and night at Mekoos.

- Friday

Snowmobile day with a trapper (130 km)

It is by snowmobile, with your guide-trapper that you go to collect beaver, otter, marten and fisher traps.

Lunch in the trapper’s cabin. The afternoon gives rise to the crossing of lakes located on the territory of Mekoos (there are 135!). You test the technique of driving in the powder and discover the immensity of the exclusive territory of 346 km2 and 500 kilometers of snowmobile trails. In short, it is a territory as far as the eye can see! Return in the evening to the main Lodge where you relax in the outdoor jacuzzi before a 4-course dinner. Night in your cottage
